She has featured on Channel 7’s Today Tonight discussing the complexities of training Assistance Dogs and has published 2 book chapters recently in Peter Lang New York in relation to Assistance Dogs. Proudly, an owner trainer herself of two Tiddlespup Assistance Dogs.

Canine Essentials differs from other organisations and offers Assistance Dog training, support and advocacy throughout your journey.

Your Training
Using a blend of experience, skills and superior qualifications, Canine Essentials is able to individualise the Owner Trained Assistance Dog program to suit your unique needs in an appropriate, methodologically sound way. This can be implemented by way of the Owner-Trained Assistance Dog Program, which is underpinned by sound, scaffolded learning modules. Additional training can be individualised to your unique needs and includes Complex Skills and Scent Detection. All delivered by Zoom.

COVID-19 Safe Policy
Canine Essentials practices in a safe and responsible manner. Canine Essentials maintains Dog Training insurance which includes Assistance Dog Training and Accreditation. There is an exclusion to this policy being an absolute Coronavirus Exclusion. For this reason, while based in regional NSW, until otherwise advised, no in person training may take place. Zoom training will continue as normal. If a client trains in a public setting and contracts COVID-19, Canine Essentials cannot be held liable. The onus is on the client to assess the situation and take appropriate COVID-safe precautions.
